Role

UI and Visual Designer

Wizar-of-Oz

Internship assignment for a company, BanchinIt.

A mockup of the user interface for a hypothetical home-automation application, 'Wizard-of-Oz',

that may run on a desktop. This is designed for users with a minimum amount of technological
experience, and may include older adults.

Landing page

The application, through Wizard-of-Oz magic, has the following capabilities:

1.Make a cup of coffee

2.Start your car remotely
3.Adjust the home thermostat to a desired temperature

I tried to make it simple by using limited colors ; main color is sky blue and orange.

Blue means stability and intelligence because I want to give users feeling of security and safe when controlling over their home remotely.

Orange means joy and happiness. I hope users would feel joyful and active even though they are away from home.

There is an alert statement on a navigation bar on the top of the site.

Icons on the right : Users can log in to their account so that the Wizard-of-Oz can pull up users' home info.
If you click on the (?) icon, Help center will pop up. Users can type and chat with the assistant

whenever they have questions or need help.
Left icon is for the settings : you can see how things are being progressed.
